Study subjects include all patients who underwent laparoscopic liver resection at Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital during the period from 2/2020 to 10/2022. Results: The mean age of the study group was 57.4 years old. Males accounted for 65.0% and females accounted for 35%. The prevalence of hepatitis B and/or C virus infection was 65%. The average tumor size was 4.8±1.3cm. Histopathological results showed that 75% were hepatocellular carcinoma; 10% were cholangiocarcinoma, and 15% were benign tumors. The mean operative time was 126.1 minutes (77-192). The average blood loss was 259.5 ml. There were 7/20 cases converted to open surgery. The success rate of laparoscopic surgery is 65%. The average number of days in the hospital was 12.8 days. Postoperative complications account for 20%.
