REVIEW OF REGULATIONS ON TRADITIONAL MEDICINES IN VIETNAM

Abstract
Objective: To conduct an overview study on the management of traditional medicines in Vietnam. Method: analysis of legal documents related to the management of traditional medicines in Vietnam. Results: Through the analysis of legal documents on the management of traditional medicines in Vietnam, it shows that the State and health agencies are performing very well the management work in the fields of drug trading, supply, processing, preparing and using traditional medicine; standards for processing and preparing traditional medicine drugs in traditional medical examination, treatment and treatment establishments; guiding methods of processing traditional medicines and promulgating a program to develop traditional medicine and pharmacy, combining traditional medicine and modern medicine by 2030. Conclusion: The Law on Pharmacy 2016 and other state legal documents related to traditional medicines are very timely and complete with the current situation. Legal documents have specific and clear provisions on the management of traditional medicines in Vietnam.
