Abstract

Objectives: To observate the Copenhagen Index and compare it with the ROMA in patients with ovarian tumors at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Study method: Retrospective study of 337 patients with ovary tumors treated at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from January 2020 to September 2022. Results: In the ovarian carcinoma patient group, the sensitivity and specificity of cancer diagnosis of the Copenhagen Index was 74.19% and 95.7% and that of the ROMA index was 77.42% and 91.1%. Conclusion: The results of the study showed that the high Copenhagen index was statistically significant for the group of ovarian cancer patients. The Copenhagen index has less sensitivity but higher specificity than the ROMA index. However, more research is needed to find cut-offs that better predict ovarian cancer.
