EVALUATING THE RESULTS OF TYMPANOPLASTY SURGERY FOR CHRONIC OTITIS MEDIA AT VINH MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objects: evaluating the results of tympanoplasty surgery for chronic otitis media at Vinh medical university hospital. Subject and method: A descriptive cross sectional study on 145 COM patients was surgery at Vinh Medical Univeristy hospital from Jan 2016 to Dec 2021. Results: The percentage of closure of tympanic membrance perforation after 6 months was 82,2%. PTA before surgery was 39,7 + 11,4dB compare with 23,3 + 10,4dB after surgery 6 months. Conclusions: 85,6% patients had otorrhea. The average deviant of Rinne between before and after surgery was 18,5dB
