KNOWLEDGE, PRACTICE TO PREVENT COVID-19 AMONG HEALTH STAFF WORKING IN KIEN XUONG DISTRICT HEALTH CENTER PARTICIPATED IN THE PREVENTION OF COVID-19 IN 2022

Abstract

The study was designed according to a descriptive epidemiological study through an analytical cross-sectional study. 237 medical staff from Health Center in Kien Xuong District were investigated from January to July 2022 with the aim of assessing the study subjects' knowledge and practice of COVID-19 prevention. Research results show that: Still up to 8.0% of district health workers think that antibiotics are the first choice of treatment when having COVID-19; and up to 38% of health workers believe that flu medicine is effective in treating COVID-19; the rate of health workers using only a part of protective equipment during epidemic prevention reached 16.9%; the percentage of health workers with knowledge is 69.2%; practice is 71.7%. It is necessary to fully equip medical staff with personal protective equipment in epidemic prevention and control, to monitor the use of equipment by health workers to ensure effective disease prevention as well as reduce anxiety among health workers. medical staff when participating in epidemic prevention
