QUALITY OF LIFE AMONG ELDERLY PEOPLE LIVING IN KIEN XUONG DISTRICT, THAI BINH DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN 2022

Abstract
A cross-sectional study on 450 elderly people in 3 communes of Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province from January to June 2022. The research results show that the percentage of female is 56.9%; 62.4% of the elderly currently have chronic and acute diseases; the overall health self-assessment score of the elderly is 60.48; mental health score of 62.29; physical health score of 58.66; 84.5% of men have a poor quality of life rate, this rate of women is 73.8% (p<0.05). Actively promote communication on home health care for the elderly with chronic diseases, especially in the context of epidemics leading to limited access to health services.
