EVALUATION OF THE RESULTS OF ARTHROSCOPIC MENISCECTOMY AND PLASTY SURGERY AT VIET DUC HOSPITAL

Abstract
From 7/2019 to 5/2020, we conducted a study on 48 patients with traumatic meniscus tears, have arthroscopic meniscectomy surgery. Objective: to evaluate the results of arthroscopic meniscectomy and plasty surgery at Viet Duc Hospital. Results: 89.6% good and very good; 10.4% fair. There are no cases of poor or bad results. Postoperative pain was significantly improved, the average postoperative VAS score was 1.8 (± 1.05). Conclusion: arthroscoscopic surgery has basically solved the damage of meniscus at grade III and IV, that were unable to recover. After the surgery, the pain, stuck joints were resolved, and function of the knee joint was regained.
