Abstract

In the academic year 2021-2022, the evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic creates a number of learning difficulties for first-year students of Nam Dinh University of Nursing. Objective: To describe some learning difficulties of first-year full-time university students of Nam Dinh University of Nursing in the academic year 2021-2022 in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic. Participants and method: A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out on 601 full-time university students in the first year of the academic year 2021 – 2022 Nam Dinh University of Nursing. Data is collected in the form of self-filling from February 2022 to the end of June 2022. Result: 100% of first-year students of Nam Dinh University of Nursing encounter difficulties in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic. Difficulties with a high percentage of affected students include: over 40% of students are not active in learning and exchanging lessons; over 20% have not yet adapted to learning and teaching methods; over 20% have difficult family circumstances, over 20% have difficulties with online learning. Conclusion: In the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, first-year students of Nam Dinh University of Nursing face many difficulties in studying.
