Abstract

Research objective: Analyze the cost and equity of health insurance in inpatient treatment at Tho Xuan District General Hospital, Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2019 - 2021. Methods: description (retrospective). Results: The adjusted average of expenditure/day shows that there is no significant difference between groups of health insurance cards, the difference between the highest and lowest spending groups from 1.15 times is quite stable between years. There was no distinction between men and women in terms of adjusted mean expenditure for one case of illness due to vestibular dysfunction, pneumonia and urinary tract infection. Conclusion: there is no distinction in the cost of health insurance payments. Hospitals should pay attention to the effective use of existing funds, mainly from health insurance.
