Abstract

Objectives: Effect evaluation of treatment of knee osteoarthritis patient by “Tam ty” pellet combine with accupressure and electro-acupunture. Stydy subjects and methods: A prospective study, comparing before and after treatment, controlled on 60 volunteer patients, aged ≥ 40, diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis. Results: After 20 days of treatment, the research group: the rate of pain relief effect: Good level 56.7%, Medium 43.3%; average WOMAC score 33.65 ± 9.76; the efficiency of knee flexion increased by 3.4 ± 3.47; heel-butt index 5.6 ± 2.44. Conclusion: The treatment of knee osteoarthritis patient by “Tam ty” pellet combine with accupressure and electro-acupunture is safe and effective.
