Abstract

Objective: To identify some factors related to the care burden of primary caregivers at the Oncology Center of Nam Dinh General Hospital in 2020. Research subjects and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out on 168 primary caregivers of cancer patients at the Oncology center from December 2019 to July 2020. Results: The study found that factors related to the care burden of primary caregivers were occupation (p < 0.05), economic income (r = - 0.2; p < 0.05), time setting (p). <0.05), individual activities (r = - 0.335; p < 0.05), social support (r = 0.484; p < 0.05). Conclusion: The results showed that the care burden had the association with several factors: Occupation, family economic income, setting time, personal activities, social support.
