Abstract

Pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) is a common cause of chronic pelvic pain in women of childbearing age but has received little attention. Ovarian vein embolization is an effective treatment for patients who are ineffective with conservative treatment, but this method is still rarely applied in Vietnam. We report a case of a patient presenting with typical symptoms of PCS and successfully treated with ovarian venous embolization.
