WOMEN'S SATISFACTION AND SOME FACTORS AFFECTING IN THE GYNECOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF QUANG NGAI PROVINCE'S OBSTETRICS AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN 2023

Abstract

Objectives: Describe the satisfaction of pregnant women and analyze some influencing factors at the obstetrics and gynecology department of Quang Ngai Province Children's Hospital in 2023 from January 2023 to June 2023. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive study combining quantitative and qualitative research on 210 pregnant women at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology, Quang Ngai Province, and in-depth interviews with 01 hospital leader, 01 department head, 01 nursing room leader, 06 pregnant women and discussed in 2 groups: 01 group of doctors and 01 group of midwives. Result: Overall satisfaction rate 91.1%. Satisfaction rate for each aspect: accessibility 96.2%; examination and hospitalization process 95.7%; providing information, communication and consulting 95.2%; facilities and service facilities 81.4%; professional attitude of medical staff 91.0%; professional capacity of medical staff 99.0%; 97.6% hospital stay. Finding factors affecting satisfaction: age group; medical human resources; facilities and service facilities; procedures for examination, hospitalization and service access; communication, information and consulting; medical finance. Conclusion: Maternal satisfaction is quite high. Based on influencing factors to have suitable solutions
