Abstract

Object: To evaluate the surgical treatment results of arthroscopic ACL reconstruction by Hamstring tendon autograft with “all-inside” technique at  Dong Anh General hospital. Subject and methods: The retrospective, prospective descriptive study was conducted on 146 patients with ACL ruptures treated with arthroscopic ACL reconstruction by Hamstring tendon autograft with “all-inside” technique, from Jan 2017 to December 2022. Knee stability and funtional Lysholm scores were recorded at each visit, including preoperatively and the third and sixth month follow-up. Result: Mean follow-up time 23,6 months (4-40). Mean age 31,5±11,8 (17-53) with male/female = 1,7/1; the main cause of ACL rupture was traffic accident 76,6%. The average of graft diameter was 9,4±1,5mm (8,5-10). All of patient had positive Lachman test, six months follow-up Lachman test was negative 95,1%. Mean knee funtional Lysholm score was 56,7 points before surgery; after 3 months: 82,6 points and after 6 months:  93,3±7,6 points. All of patient was had negative Pivotshif test postoperatively. Conclusion: Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction with “all-inside” technique was effective and safety technique for restoring knee stability and function.
