Abstract

Background: Study on evaluating the results of surgery to treat lateral clavicle fracture with locking brace at Viet Duc Hospital. Methods: The study included 15 patients with lateral clavicle fractures who were treated using external head braces: 5 cases of grade IIa, 7 cases of grade IIb, 3 cases of grade V according to Neer classification. Postoperative functional outcome using Constant scale to follow up from 3 weeks to 6 months. Results: After surgery for fracture of the lateral clavicle, all patients achieved anatomical results. Average Constant score 86. Conclusion: Treatment of lateral clavicle fractures using locking splints gave good initial results
