LAPAROSCOPIC TRANSPERITONEAL HEMINEPHROUTERECTOMY FOR TREATMENT OF COMPLETED DUPLEX KIDNEY IN CHILDREN: RESULT OF 20 CASES IN NATIONAL HOSPITAL OF PEADIATRIC

Abstract
Introduction: inform outcomes of 20 completed duplex kidney patients underwent laparoscoic transperitoneal heminephrouterectomy in National Hospital of Peadiatric. Subject and methods: Retrospective analysis. Results: 20 childs included 5 boys and 15 girls, mean aged was 34 months, mean wieght was 13kg. There were 8 right side heminephrouterectomy and 12 cases in left side, none of them had any complications during or after operation. Mean operative times was 100 mins. Mean postoperative hospital stay was 4 days. Mean time follow-up was 5 months with 2 cases had small cyst upper the affected side kidney and 2 cases had non symptom hydronephrosis. Conclusion: Transperitoneal laparoscopic heminnephrouterectomy is safe and effectiveness.
