Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the proportion of local vascular complications (LVC) and investigate some factors related to the complications of puncture wounds in patients with coronary intervention at C7 Cardiology Institute from 9/2022 - 11/2022. Subjects: 106 patients underwent coronary angiography and/or intervention from September 2022 to November 2022. Methods: cross-sectional description. Patients were clinically evaluated after coronary angiography or intervention. The study criteria were LVC: bleeding, hematoma, pseudoaneurysm, embolism, arteriovenous catheterization. Results: The rate of PCM was 2.83%, all cases were hematomas, the size was less than 10cm. All patients with bleeding complications were patients with coronary intervention. No major bleeding complications (eg retroperitoneal bleeding) or late bleeding complications (pseudoaneurysm, arteriovenous catheterization) were noted. Risk factors for BCMMTC are duration of procedure, underlying disease, dyslipidemia. Conclusion: Complications after angiography and/or coronary intervention have a low rate (2.83%)
