Abstract

Sam bo chinh - Abelmoschus sagittifolius (Kurz) Merr., familia Malvaceae is also known as Sam Tho Hao because it grows and is grown in Tho Hao, Thanh Chuong, Nghe An. Root of Abelmoschus sagittifolius (Kurz) Merr. in traditional medicine is used as a tonic for the body, used when the body is weak, poor appetite, poor sleep, nervous weakness, .... However, the botanical characteristics of Abelmoschus sagittifolius (Kurz) Merr.in Nghe An have not been described comprehensively with the specific characteristics of the species. Therefore, we conducted this study to study plant characteristics on the basis of analyzing the morphological and anatomical characteristics of Abelmoschus sagittifolius (Kurz) Merr. in Nghe An. The Abelmoschus sagittifolius (Kurz) Merr. was also studied for the characteristics of medicinal powder as a basis for standardizing medicinal herbs and for further chemical studies.
