Abstract

histopathological characteristics of bone marrow in patients with multiple myeloma at Bach Mai Hospital in 2016 - 2022. Subjects: 93 patients were diagnosed with Multiple myeloma. Methods: Cross section, descriptive. Results and conclusion: In our study on 93 patients with multiple myeloma, we found that: Anemia is common in patients with multiple myeloma, accounting for 89.2%. The rate of seeing plasma cells on peripheral blood smears accounted for 25.8%. Diffuse lesions 21.5%, interstitial 12.9%, nodules 16.2%, small clusters 26.9%, mixed 22.5%. The CD38 and CD138 rates were 100%. The positive rate of bone marrow immunohistochemistry with other CDs: CD19 is 10.7%, CD20 is 32.3%, CD56 is 77.4%; CD81 is 3.2%; CD117 94.6%
