KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICE PREVENTION AGAINST HERPEN B OF THE FAMILY OF BENEFITS AT THE CENTRAL TEMPORARY HOSPITAL IN 2022

Abstract
Objectives: Describe the knowledge and practice of hepatitis B prevention among family members of hepatitis B patients at the Department of Outpatient Examination and Treatment, Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in 2022 and learn some factors related to the knowledge and practice of hepatitis B prevention of research subjects. Subjects and methods: 400 family members of hepatitis B patients examined and treated as outpatients at the Department of Examination - Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases participated in the study. Analytical cross-sectional descriptive study. Results: Knowledge characteristics of the study subjects: The percentage of patients' family members with a level of knowledge about hepatitis B prevention was 37.8% with an average score of 24.55 (±2.21). )/29 points. The percentage of patients' family members who have knowledge of hepatitis B prevention at an unsatisfactory level is 62.3% with an average score of 13.71 (±4.24)/29 points; Practice characteristics of the study subjects: The percentage of patients' family members who practiced hepatitis B prevention was 76.3% with an average score of 8.65 (±1.05)/10 points. The percentage of patient's family members who practice at an unsatisfactory level is 23.8% with an average score of 4.80 (±11.29)/10 points; Some factors related to the knowledge of the research subjects: the age over 40 has a higher rate of knowledge failure than the group under 40 years old (p=0.001; OR=2.12); Living in rural and mountainous areas has a higher rate of unsatisfactory knowledge than urban groups (p=0.00; OR=3.53); High school level and below have a higher percentage of knowledge that fail than the group above high school (p=0.00; OR=5.12); farmers, workers and students have a higher percentage of unsatisfactory knowledge than cadres and pensioners (p=0,000; OR=8.38).
