Abstract

In this research, we construct formal forms for assessing the nutritional status and the risk of refeeding syndrome for COVID-19 patients. Analysing different methods for assessing the nutritional status, such as SGA, MNA, PG-SGA, GLIM; guidelines for refeeding syndrome (NICE, IrSPEN, ASPEN 2020) and retrospective study from electronic medical records on nutritional status and risk of refeeding syndrome. Based on GLIM criteria for assessing the nutritional status of 482 patients in 2021, the percentage of patients who had malnutrition was 36.9%, of which 22% for moderate and 14.9% for severe malnutrition. 17.0% of patients suffer from the risk of refeeding syndrome, of which 7.0% for severe risk.
