ĐÁNH GIÁ KẾT QUẢ HEMOGLOBIN TRONG ĐIỀU TRỊ THIẾU MÁU BẰNG ERYTHROPOIETIN TRÊN BỆNH NHÂN SUY THẬN MẠN LỌC MÁU CHU KỲ TẠI BỆNH VIỆN ĐA KHOA BẠC LIÊU NĂM 2022-2023

Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate hemoglobin results and some factors related to hemoglobin results in the treatment of anemia with erythropoietin (EPO) in patients with chronic kidney disease dialysis cycle at Bac Lieu General Hospital in 2022-2023. Subjects and methods: 96 medical records of patients with chronic kidney disease dialysis cycle who were assigned to treat anemia with erythropoietin at the Department of Artificial Kidneys of Bac Lieu General Hospital from April in 2022 to April in 2023. Results: The number of patients at the beginning of the study with Hb less than 10g/dL accounted for the largest proportion, accounting for 70.83%. The most common dose level is 48000UI. From the first month surveyed (T1) to the last month surveyed (T3), the average Hb concentration increased significantly that the average Hb was 8.68g/dL and 9.55g/dL at the time T1 and T3, respectively. After 12 months of treatment, the mean RBC of the study group tended to increase. The average ferritin concentration was quite stable and fluctuated little during the study period, ranging from 175.63µg/L – 275.49µg/L. Conclusion: The common dose of EPO used for patients is 48000 UI/month, all patients receive intravenous EPO after dialysis. About hematological indicators, Hb and average red blood cells increased. However, attention should be paid to the rate of increase of Hb to ensure patient safety. Mean serum ferritin concentrations were elevated and within the normal range.
