Abstract

Testicular postpubertal type teratoma is a rare disease. We present a case report of postpubertal teratoma in a 22 years old male. The patient came to the hospital with symptoms of painful, palpable mass in the right side testical. Ultrasond and CT scanner showed a large testicular tumor and a massive retroperitoneal nodal metastasis. We conducted ultrasound guided biopsy to sample metastasis lesion and pathological features were compatible with postpubertal teratoma. Radical orchiectomy and resection of metastasis like retroperitoneal lymph node dissection play an essential role in the treament of postpubertal teratoma.
