EVALUATION OF RESULT TREATMENT OF THE DIAPHYSEAL FOREARM FRACTURES BY PLATE FIXATION

Abstract

Objectives: Evaluation of result treatment of close Diaphyseal fracture of both bones forearm by Plate fixation. Comments on surgical indication and surgical timing. Subjects: 38 patients (28 males, 10 females), from 12 to 74 ages, average 29.39 ± 17.50; diagnosed with the Diaphyseal forearm fractures, were treated by Plate osteosynthesis at Military Hospital 103 from January 2019 to July 2021. Methods: Prospective, clinical trials without control group, cross-sectional description combined with longitudinal follow-up. Patients with surgical method by ORIF for both ulnar and radial bones. Results: 100% patients bon healing. Far result  in 38 patients after surgery from 13 to 26 months were: excellent 89.5%, good 10.5%. Conclusions: Plate fixation is gold standard of surgical treatment of Diaphyseal fracture of both bones forearm.
