Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the laboratory and diagnostic characteristics of patients after being infected with COVID-19 who were examined at the University Medical Center in Ho Chi Minh City. A total of 1006 patients were collected in 2022. Laboratory abnormalities included uremia (89.7%), elevation of HbA1c (78.6%), dyslipidemia (72.8%), decreased blood cortisol (54.5%), thyroid dysfunction (26.3%) and increased liver enzymes (24.3%), increased D-Dimer (21.7%) and increased CRP (20.6%). Abnormalities on chest radiograph (18.2%) and electrocardiogram (23.6%) were also suggestive of abnormalities in many patients. Most patients were diagnosed with Post-COVID-19 related conditions
