Abstract

Objectives: ReView the results of scar treatment after cleft lip plastic surgery by YAG. Meterial and methods: The study was carried out on 35 cleft palate patients who had undergone cleft lip and palate plastic surgery to examine and treat scars at the Hanoi Central Odonto-Stomatology Hospital. using the resultsof the measurements on the clinical examination. Results: The degree of scar softness, scar height, scar pigmentation according to the VancouVer scale changed in a positiVe direction through the treatments, this change Statistical significance. The scarring according to the VancouVer scale improVed markedly from the 3rd treatment onwards and this progression was statistically significant.
