KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICE ON PREVENTION OF HYPOGLYCEMIA AMONG DIABETIC PATIENTS AT 108 MILITARY CENTRAL HOSPITAL IN 2023

Abstract
with 102 diabetic patients in 108 Military Central Hospital from January, 2023 to May, 2023. Results: The mean age was 61,8 ± 14,0. The preValance with history of prior hypoglycemia was 35,2%. From all knowledge questions, 41,9% participants had good knowledge in hypoglycemia, and 58,1% participants had poor knowledge. From all practice questions, 36,1% participants had good practice in hypoglycemia, and 63,9% participant had poor practice. Conclusion: Diabetic patients haVe limited about knowledge and practice on preVention of hypoglycemia. It is necessary to raise awareness for patients about the importance and dangers of hypoglycemia. From there, haVe knowledge and practice to handle it in a timely manner, minimizing unwanted risks.
