SKELETAL MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS AMONG DENTISTS IN THE NORTH OF VIET NAM

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders are disorders of muscles, arch cords, tendons, nerVes, discs, muscles, and joints that are common in dentists and greatly affect work and life. Number of subjects who are Dentist are mainly aged 24-70 years old, haVe worked for more than 10 years (62%) according to the assessment of the "Nordic Questionnaire", the results showed that musculoskeletal disorders in the neck and shoulder areas in the past 12 months were 72% and in the past 7 days were 50.5% and 52.7%. The two factors that influence musculoskeletal disorders using the highest rates are “Uncomfortably bending or hitting the back while working” or “Working in the same position for long periods of time” using similar ratios. the one-time response is 74.2% and 69.9%, respectiVely.
