Abstract

The study aims to describe clinical features and form of harm in gastritis elderly in National Geriatric Hospital. Method of cross-sectional descriptive study on 166 gastritis patients from 2/2021 to 12/2021. Research results show that gastritis is most common in the 61-70 year old age group. The mean age of gastritis was 73,37 ± 9,00 years old. More common in women than men. Common and common clinical symptoms in gastritis are belching (72,3%), heartburn 67,5%. Most of the symptoms of epigastric pain, epigastric heat, anorexia, quick satiety, bloating, nausea, vomiting and heartburn were found in cases of gastric ulcer lesions (p < 0,05). The most common are conjunctivitis (72,2%) and flat slip (60,9%). Conclusions: Early detection of gastritis in the elderly is essential and gastroduodenal endoscopy should be indicated for elderly patients with symptoms of gastritis to investigate lesions.
