Abstract

diagnosed cases of laryngopharyngeal reflux at Post Hospital from August 2022 to July 2023. The result showed that the overall mean age of the patients was 44 ±14,6 years, the proportion of male patients is more common than female patients (43,1% and 56,9%). The common functional symptoms for patients with reflux are throat clearing (82,7%), globus sensation (74,1), cough (75,9%). The most common physical symptoms during otolaryngoscopy in patients with reflux were retro- cricoid, endolaryngeal sticky mucus (74,1%), contact with hypopharyngeal wall (72,4%), pharyn sticky mucus (70,6%). After the course of treatment and follow- up for 1 month, the rate of patients who did not respond to treatment was 1 patients (1,7%), the rate of patients with a moderate response was 46 patients (79,4%), patients with high therapeutic responders are 10 (17,2%).
