Abstract

Retrospective and prospective study on 55 cases diagnosed with differentiated recurrent thyroid carcinoma at the National Otolaryngology Hospital and Hanoi Oncology Hospital from January 2020 to July in 2023. Research results show that the youngest age is 13 years old, the highest is 68 years old, female is 5,1/1 higher than male. Clinical symptoms are often poor, mainly due to periodic examination (85,5%). The most common time to relapse was less than 2 years (60%). After the first surgery, there was 35 cases of using I-131 (63,6%) and 20 cases of continued follow-up (36,4%). Neck ultrasound (92,7%) and neck CT Scanner (95,8%). FNA cell aspiration (91%) was positive.
