Abstract

Objectives: Research on serum uric acid level and some related factors of hemodialysis patients. Subjects:80 patients underwent hemodialysis at Saint Paul hospital from April, 2022 to August, 2022. Method: cross-sectional study. Results: Mean serum uric acid level was 434.51 ± 136.139 µmol/l. Hyperuricemia ratio was 66.25%. There was no association between serum uric acid concentration with gender, duration of hemodialysis, reuse dialyzer, BMI, residual urine volume, hypertension, blood concentration of hemoglobin, albumin, iron, ferritin, ure. Acid uric levels were negatively correlated with blood calci concentration (r = -0.374, p < 0.05). Acid uric levels were positively correlated with blood phospho concentration (r = 0.301, p < 0.05), Ca x P (r = 0.234, p < 0.05), blood creatinin concentration (r = 0.378, p < 0.05).
