Abstract

Objective: Describe the current situation of work pressure and some factors related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on medical staff at the Binh Giang District Health Center. Research subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 293 health workers at the Health Center of Binh Giang district, Hai Duong province in 2022. The questionnaire was designed using pre-designed questionnaires. many options using the MBI-HSS work pressure scale. Results: 67.2% of subjects had moderate work pressure, 3.4% of health workers had high work pressure. The average score of “Mental burnout” was the highest (2.05±1.35), followed by “Negative Attitude” (1.46±1.15) and “Personal Performance” (3 ,83±1.30). Female health workers, on duty with COVID-19, with an occupation of more than 20 years, providing inadequate protective equipment, are at higher risk of work pressure than other subjects. Conclusion: The COVID-19 epidemic has affected the work pressure of medical staff at Binh Giang District Health Center.
