Abstract
Stroke is a current health problem. Stroke do not only affects health, but also poses a huge burden on the economy, the quality of patient’s life,… The objective of the study is analyzing the direct medical costs of stroke patients at the Cen tral Highlands General Hospital. By retrospective method of data from patient’s medical records, using calculation and statistical software, the study has given the average direct medical cost for a course of stroke treatment and the influence of factors on the stokr treatment’s cost.
