Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the combination of PCT, CRP and D-dimer in predicting the severity of acute pancreatitis patients treated at Phu Tho General Hospital. Subjects and methods: Including 62 patients with acute pancreatitis treated at Phu Tho General Hospital from October 2022 to June 2023. Descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective study. Results: The value of the combination of CRP, Procalcitonin and D-Dimer in the prognosis of severe acute pancreatitis: AUC: 0.734, the cut-off point was 2.7, the sensitivity was 87.5%, the specificity was 59. ,3%. 95% CI: 0.568 – 0.9. Conclusion: The combination of procalcitonin, CRP and D dimer is valuable in the prognosis of moderate and severe acute pancreatitis.
