Abstract

The study used cross-sectional descriptive method, investigated information and data from 1706 students. The study used reliable scales, all observed variables have good explanations for the current state of knowledge about children's sexual relations. Research results: Students have a good awareness of the prevention of child sexual violence, besides there are some content that are not properly understood: 73% said that “Show children pictures/photographs/movies/music. bad” and 36% said that “holding hands with children longer than necessary makes them uncomfortable”, 22.6% said “Staring into children’s private areas”, 24% said “Saying words vulgar, sexually suggestive with children” is not considered sexual intercourse; 63.6% believe that the perpetrators of child sexual abuse are mostly strangers, 29.1% think that highly educated people never abuse children, 41.7% think that children with disabilities are less likely to suffer from sexual violence than normal children, 54.5% said that the object of sexual violence against children is female children, 16.3% think that only children who have reached puberty are subject to sexual violence, a very worrying content that up to 81.3% of students think that the Internet is not bring the risks of STDs; Students have poor awareness of signs to identify children at risk or suffering. Recommendation: continue to research to more fully assess the status of students' knowledge about prevention of child sexual abuse in secondary schools. Research to have appropriate models and measures to raise students' awareness of child credit society, renew and update propaganda materials, in which it is important to note the content that many students are not aware of. develop topics focusing on educating students on child sexual abuse to achieve effective results in child sexual abuse prevention education.
