ASSESSMENT OF RESULTS OF ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY OPEN TYMPANIC CAVITY IN PATIENTS WITH PRIMARY CHOLESTEATOMA LOCALIZED IN THE TYMPANIC CAVITY

Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the results of laparoscopic tympanic surgery in patients with primary cholesteatoma localized to the tympanic cavity. Methods: Descriptive study and clinical intervention study, no control group, convenient sampling. Research location: Central Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital, research period from 2018-2023. Study patients: 33. Research results: Primary cholesteatoma is usually detected in young patients, average 3.2 ± 1.4 years old; All patients were followed up for at least 1 month and found that the tympanic membrane was completely closed, there were no cases of complications during and after surgery; Cholesteatoma recurrence was not detected. Conclusion: Laparotomy to open the tympanic cavity in patients with primary cholesteatoma is a safe operation with good results, the patient experienced a gentle postoperative period with low complication rate and recurrence rate. not tall.
