Abstract

Objective: To survey on the satisfaction of blood donors at blood donation site organized by VietDuc university hospital. The subjects and research methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study with analysis of 420 people participating in blood donation organized by VietDuc university hospital inside and outside the hospital during the period from January 2022 to November 2022. Results: Most of the participants in blood donation rated their satisfaction with the content of communication, forms of communication, the organization of blood donation and the after-care of blood donation, from 50% or more, the average score is almost 4/5 or higher. In order for blood donation to reach more people or back to donating blood, it is necessary to pay attention to the form of propaganda through mass media (zalo, facebook...). Regarding to the organization, it is essentail to focus on the professional qualifications and attitudes of blood collection technicians and blood-receiving equipment. Finally, the post-blood donation care needs to maintain and develop the activities of fostering gifts, nourishing meals and guiding resting after blood donation.
