Abstract

Background: Today, mortality in the community accounts for a large proportion in the structure of causes of death, in which the diagnosis by interview method is considered appropriate in Vietnam. Objectives: Describe the structure of causes of death in the community at Quoc Oai district, Hanoi city, in 2022. Methods: Cross-sectional survey. Results: The study collected information from 100 deaths at commune health stations in Quoc Oai district, Hanoi City through VA questionairs. The results showed that, the average life expectancy of the study group was 72.5-17.5. The common causes of death are circulatory diseases and cancer (60.5%).
