RESULTS OF IMPLEMENTATION 5S AT GENERAL HOSPITAL YEN BAI PROVINCE

Abstract

A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out on on 8 functional chambers and 8 wards in the Intensive Care Unit from October 2022 to June 2023. Results: In 5S, only S1 and S3 achieved good results S1: 3,83/5 (76,6%); S2: 3,72/5 (74,4%); S3: 3,81/5 (76,2%); S4: 3,7/5 (74%); S5:3,62/5 (72,4%). Average score of 5S: 3.73/5 (74.6%). Factors related to the implementation of 5S implementation include training that is not maintained, financial resources, procurement procedures, regulatory documentation system for supervision, and availability of 5S quality checklists.
