Abstract

Objective: To describe the clinical and subclinical characteristics and  management of Fetoplacental hydrops at the  National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2019 to 2021. Subjects and methods: This is a Cross-sectional study of 120 women at 22 weeks or more weeks of gestation with Fetoplacental hydrops who had their pregnancy termination in National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Results: The average gestational week at termination was 29.2 ± 4.1 weeks. The percentage of pregnancy with comorbidities such as gestational hypertension and preeclampsia was 21,6%. The percentage of vaginal birth and cesarean section was respectively 69.2% and 30.8%. Cesarean section rate with previous cesarean sections, preeclampsia was respectively 29.7% and 19,3%. 100% of vaginal births had abnormal placentation and 8.3% of postpartum hemorrhage.
