CLINICAL FEATURES OF HYPOSEXUAL DESIRE DISORDER IN SCHIZOPHRENIA PATIENT

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate clinical characteristics of sexual desire disorder in patients with schizophrenia treated at mental health institute in 2022-2023. Subjects and research methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 81 subjects from July 2022 to July 2023. Research results: male/female ratio was 59.3/40.7%, the number of single/unmarried patients accounted for the highest rate with 61.7%, only 27.2% of married patients and 11.1% of patients were separated or divorced, 6.2% of patients had the disease for less than 1 year, 42% of patients had the disease from 1-5 years, 51.8% of patients had the disease for more than 5 years, there were 81.5% of patients have decreased libido (according to ICD-10), of which 62.1% are men. Conclusion: Schizophrenic patients have a very high rate of sexual desire disorders.
