Abstract

Objective: Study on anxiety, depression, stress of dental care staff at National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, Hanoi in 2022 - 2023. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study on 251 dental care staff at National Hospital of Odonto -Stomatology, Hanoi. Implementation time is from May 2022 to July 2023. Results: Dental care staff had an average age of 35.6 ± 7.7 years (the youngest was 22 years old, the oldest was 58 years old). Dental care staff have symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression, accounting for 23.1%, 12.4%, and 16.7%, respectively, with varying degrees from mild, moderate, severe, and very severe. Dental care staff has only one expression or depression or anxiety or stress accounting for 11.6%, there are two manifestations accounting for 7.2% and staff with all three expressions of anxiety, depression, stress is 8.8%. Conclusion: Dental care staff at Hanoi Central Dental Hospital have high rates of anxiety, depression, and stress.
