MỘT SỐ YẾU TỐ LIÊN QUAN ĐẾN TIÊM PHÒNG VẮC-XIN COVID-19 CHO CON TẠI MỘT TRƯỜNG TRUNG HỌC PHỔ THÔNG TỈNH THÁI NGUYÊN

Abstract

The objective is to describe the rate of parents having their children vaccinated against COVID-19 immediately after the announcement of Luong Phu high school, Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen province and some related factors. This is a cross-sectional study conducted on 481 parents with their child studying at Luong Phu High School in grades 10, 11, 12 during the period from December 2021 to January 2022. The results of the study showed that, immediately after being informed, 57.2% of students were vaccinated. Parental income, parent's health status, and child's school year are some associated factors that influence COVID-19 vaccination for children. It is necessary to have a communication strategy before vaccination campaigns, which considers factors that influence parents' behavior in vaccinating their children, thereby raising awareness among the target audience to increase the proportion of parents for vaccination their child.
