Abstract

Objective: The descriptive research medicinal properties and treatment of some commonly used herbal in Northern Vietnam. Subjects and methods: statistics, comparison, discussion, inference, and combination to seek expert consensus. Time from June to October 2023. Results: 17 medicinal herbs have the ability to mainly treat Respiratory diseases (53% productive cough; 41% treat flu ); 13 medicinal herbs have the function of mainly treating Digestive diseases (31% treat stomachache; 23% treat diarrhea); 23 medicinal herbs have the main function of treating Urinary-genital diseases (61% Treat of painful urination; 13% Treat of menstrual disorders); 21 medicinal herbs have the function of mainly treating Musculoskeletal diseases (90% treat Osteoarthritis pain; 14% treat injury); 9 medicinal herbs have the function of mainly treating neurological and mental diseases (44% treat insomnia; 33% treat Hypertension); 19 medicinal herbs have the function of treating other diseases (47% treat Dermatitis). Conclution:The descriptive research medicinal properties and treatment of 102 herbal in Northern Vietnam. the disease groups often focus on 3 main groups of diseases: Urinary - genital; Musculoskeletal and Respiratory accounts for over 60%.
