Abstract

Objective: Evaluation of the results interlaminar endoscopic surgery for herniated disc L4L5. Methods: The records of 89 patients who underwent interlaminar endoscopic surgery for herniated disc L4L5 at Viet Duc Hospital from 01/2022 to 03/2023. Results: In 89 patients of research, 94.3% of patients achieved good and very good results on the Macnad scale. After 1 month of surgery, VAS back score improved by 62.5%; VAS legs improved by 61.4%; ODI scores improved by 38%. There were no cases in which re-operation was required. Conclusions: Interlaminar endoscopic surgery for herniated disc is a minimally invasive treatment method that brings good effects for L4L5 herniated disc disease with benefits such as small incisions, shortened hospital stay, and reduced postoperative pain, but requires experienced and trained surgeons.
