Abstract

Objective: Evaluate the results of patient care after uterine fibroid surgery at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital in 2023. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study combined with prospective selection of 158 patients undergoing fibroid surgery uterus. Results: After surgery, 100% of patients were awake and breathing on their own. The rate of fever on day 1, day 2 and day 3 is 7.0%, respectively; 3.8% and 2.5%. On day 2, there was a case of difficulty breathing that required transfer to the Intensive Care Department for monitoring. Moderate angle, VAS on day 1 from 4 - 6 points (65.2%); Gradually reduce levels then over the following days. Most patients recover peristalsis after 2 days: 90.5%. 93% of patients shortened urination on the first day after illness. After the specific algorithm, the songs were all considered successful, with no major variations. Some post-neurological symptoms include: Post-neurotic fatigue and shortness of breath 1.3%; wound infection: 1.9%; abdominal pain, vomiting: 3.2%; Urinary retention after surgery: 2.5%. The majority of participants rated their satisfaction with the nursing care process: 10.8% rated them as very satisfied; 82.9% satisfaction rating.  Conclusion: Patients after uterine fibroid surgery are monitored to detect abnormal signs early. Postoperative care is performed in accordance with the patient's condition. All surgeries were performed successfully. 93.7% rated satisfied with the nursing care process.
