Abstract

The following goals guided the study's conduct: Use a cross-sectional study methodology, quantitative research to assess using built-in checklists, and secondary data collection from relevant plans and reports to describe the present status of active hypertension screening at health stations in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, in 2023. The location is the Medical Center District 12 in Ho Chi Minh City, and the time period is from April 2023 to August 2023. Although all 7 of the active screening for hypertension activities were implemented at the Health Stations throughout the evaluation, the active screening rate at District 12's Health Stations was only 54.5% overall. Only 63.9% of blood pressure readings were accurate and complete when done in accordance with protocol. A report on the screening's outcomes and a synopsis of the screening program are available at all Health Stations. The care of exceptional cases is still subpar despite the fact that 100% of health stations include instances of hypertension on their list of hypertensive patients. In general, a small degree of active hypertension screening in 11 wards of District 12 has not been done properly. There are issues with resources for implementation, the campaign's implementation time and the number of screening rounds are not consistent and uniform across wards, and the Health Stations have not actively pushed screening activities.
