CLINICAL FEATURES DESCRIPTION OF PATIENTS WITH INSOMNIA IN POST-COVID-19 SYNDROME AT DONG DA GENERAL HOSPITAL

Abstract

Objective: Describe the clinical characteristics of patients with insomnia in post-COVID-19 syndrome at Dong Da General Hospital. Research methods and subjects: cross-sectional descriptive study on 60 patients diagnosed with insomnia in post-COVID-19 syndrome being treated at the Department of Traditional Medicine - Diseases Dong Da General Hospital from July 2022 to April 2023. Results: The average age of research subjects is 64.63 ± 8.80 years old, women account for a higher proportion than men, the female/male ratio is 6.5/1, the number of COVID-19 infection days from 1 ≤ - < 2 weeks accounts for the highest rate of 70%; 100% of patients developed symptoms of fever, fatigue, headache and insomnia during COVID-19 infection, most patients did not find factors promoting insomnia (71.66%) and the highest rate of insomnia is from 2 - < 6 months (61.67%).
