Abstract
Induction chemotherapy added to concurrent chemoradiation has recently become the new standard treatment in locally advanced nasopharyngeal cancers. We report a case of a 48-year-old female diagnosed with stage III nasopharyngeal cancer (T3N1M0), who was treated with gemcitabine-cisplatin followed by concurrent chemoradiation and achieved a promising result.
